OUR STORY
Founded in March 2012 by award-winning poet and educator, Dorian Paul Rogers, Ed. D. What started as a poetry open mic night in Abu Dhabi quickly grew into a variety of community-based culture, arts, and nightlife event offerings.
WHO WE ARE
We are a collective of artists, performers, and curators. We are culture, art, and nightlife events planning done right! We have the reputation, expertise, and performance arts talent to make your event a success.
WHAT WE DO
We aim to add life and positive energy in to the UAE community with culturally-appropriate performance arts and nightlife concepts. For choice partners and clients, we also offer event management from concept development and brainstorming to execution on the back end. Furthermore, we assist our affiliated artists and musicians with bookings.
We currently host the following five recurring concepts in the United Arab Emirates: Rooftop Rhythms Poetry Open Mic (In partnership with The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi with official support of the US Embassy Abu Dhabi), Rooftop Rhythms- Arabia All-Arabic Poetry Open Mic (In partnership with Lamatna Group and Manarat Al Saadiyat with official support of US Embassy Abu Dhabi), Lip Sync War, Abu Dhabi Soul Music Open Mic and Feature Show, and a series of silent parties (In partnership with Naudible Silent Events)..
